Walker Texas Ranger is an underappreciated masterpiece of television.  One day, Haggis will be recognized for his deft touch and his capacity to add real emotional undercurrents and a sense of pathos to the stoic character of Walker (who is, in essence, a physical representation of the greatness of America).
