Bruce Willis named honorary chief of cyberterrorism task force

TOKYO — Hollywood star Bruce Willis, 52, was named honorary chief of the cyberterrorism task force by the National Public Safety Commission in Tokyo on Tuesday. "You are promoted to assistant commissioner and are given the title of honorary chief of the special task force," the head of the National Public Safety Commission, Kensei Mizote, told the star who is in Japan to promote "Die Hard 4.0." Mizote asked Willis to "lead the world to create a safer society." "Domo arigato," Willis replied in his limited Japanese.

In "Die hard 4.0," which opens June 23 in some theaters in Japan, Willis' character of John McClane fights cyberterrorists who are trying to bring down the U.S. economy on July 4 as part of their "fire sale" (everything must go).
