Any economics majors in the house? Zeitgeist movie related

I was thinking about that Zeitgeist movie and while most of it was BS, what do yall think about all the federal reserve stuff. Is it true that the government is loaned money by the reserve at an interest rate and that the federal income tax only goes to pay that interest?

and thats when the video got interesting. The area about JESUS LOL FAKE I glossed over.

They had like two testimonials of former IRS agents stating that they resigned due to issues with the Federal Reserve (mainly Federal Taxes). I don't know :shrugs
