Is Crackdown a good rental?

Dudes. I don't start work for a week, I don't move for a week and a half and my lady works 12-9 everyday. I need to keep busy and I've already learned to butcher a chicken and cleaned up the house. I need to keep busy. Can I swing through Crackdown in like 5 days?

i played through perhaps a third of the game in a couple nights, and didn't have much fun with it. some of the mechanics are neat, but it needs design -- the gangboss assassinations are dull, and the peripheral freeform stuff is intolerably dull. the demo is totally representative.

Since you can't max out your skills in the demo, it's not really representative.

It's a really fun game to play on Live.

If you're not easily bored you can beat it in a rental period. Its fun on some base level but it needs a lot of polishing. It sort of feels like a really polished concept demo for an even better game.
