Got the word of confirmation with the lady responsible for the admissions earlier in the day that she'd strongly advise the college's registration bureau to accept my candidacy, which basically means that it's done. All that is required is to pass a bunch of standard english/french skill tests in a few weeks, but my skills are high enough so that there's absolutely no chances of me failing that.

So yeah, in like two months, maybe a little less, I'm heading towards that city to visit appartments and pick up one, to then pack things up, make sure to get the required telephone/electricity/Internet/bank subscriptions and whatnot, and move out in time for the debut of the classes, which is scheduled at the beginning of September. Gonna abandon the university courses I was currently doing, as it's a different major, and that university is more prestigious.

Now on to that backlog of games, a busy daily routine like that means no time to complete and beat games for hours on end for a long, long time...

yeah, I'm a little sick of most games as it stands, and am only really interested about game soundtracks and character designer works these times around

it's not worth it to complete most games anyway, if they can't drag your interest along for their whole duration then it's maybe better to toss them... for the absolute majority of games I completed, that really just left a sour taste in my mouth

It happened on GAF's Gamesquad forum of which nothing remains. I don't understand how it's so special, seems like typical GAF overreaction. Basically this guy once lived in Japan, and then keeps pretending that he is there. And then when discovering that there's damning proof against his claims, he plays along to keep his character alive and just leaves by making some theatrical post.

He was Kitsune, who then migrated to the Quartertothree forums, where he kept making allusions to living in Japan when such deceptions were convenient for him. Hasn't been seen there in months though, no one knows what's become of him.

uh, dad had put money aside since a long time for his son's university studies, plus there are provincial scolarships... this'll do amply enough to avoid having to cope with some shitty McJob, since I don't have a car or any fancy material needs

the field in which I picked the major has to do with languages... I've ceased being ill for about two whole years now and rested enough, it's now time to dive back into a daily routine

Wow, this is so damn stupid. Bureaucracy being what it is, I just received the official letter of convocation for the acceptance exams, which will happen on August 24... and the first session is supposed to begin like a week after!

What about those who don't reside there until they move out for studies? Yeah, it's just like there are things that depend on the university's letter of official acceptance, like, you know... finding an appartment, getting insurances, requesting scholarships... it doesn't happen overnight.

So now I'm gonna have to seek classified ads, take a bus to that town, and have a bunch of rendez-vous with appartment owners to sign a one year-long lease even if the acceptance is not official.

they have tests at the beginning of the summer and at the end of august for the batch of people who missed the first date. That test will qualify you and they'll forward you toward special classes and so on.
