I have a strong feeling that this hobby is going to go to shit. EA basically said Wii=big demographic and now we have pretty much nothing other than mini-game games being the big games for the system pretty soon after launch. I think that wii sales are going to be too big for companies and we'll get 50 million versions of wii sports. And none of them can tell a decent bat swing.
I think that people don't see a reason to buy against wii. I'm talking about the average gamer. The one year head-start that the 360 had brought a ton of good things. It really raised the standard. Then wii came. I don't think people really feel like having a system that doesn't have a ton of exclusives. I hope I'm wrong but if I'm not, fuck you for not listening. I always encourage people to get 360 instead of wii when they say that they're thinking of getting a wii first. Seriously, if sony rereleased a PS2 in a different ruby-cum colored design, called it PSlite, had waggle, full PS2 "BC", and a mofucking HD it would rape wii.
