For nostalgia's sake, let's post about children's books we loved when we were kids!
Some of my faves:
Mouse and the Motorcycle
Animorphs
Wayside School
Goosebumps
The Magic School Bus (SHUT UP)
There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom
Hatchet
Call of the Wild
My Teacher series
Matilda
Where the Wild Things Are
The BFG
The Hobbit
The Lord of the Rings
The Princess Bride
Harriet the Spy
It's funny because I loved some of these books as a kid to death, but I can't remember shit. It makes me so sad and depressed.

Many of which I forgot the name of.

One of which was a book about a native american girl who got left on her home island with her brother. Her brother got killed eventually and she had to survive by herself.
Another book featured a boy and girl who found a secret place where they would play together, the boy wanted to be an artist, and the girl wore bifocals and got made fun of a lot. Eventually the girl dies. I forgot the name of it, but I actually wouldn't mind reading it again.
Another favorite was a short story I read in 7th grade. It was about two brothers, one of which was born physically handicapped, but he managed to learn how to walk and do activities by himself. Some shit goes down, and if I remember, the older brother accidently kills his little brother. It was great, and I forgot the name.
