HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA you paid for a subscription to get bad speeds. Dude, did you ever think about going to 3dgamers and download from their fast servers?

Gamespy/fileplanet it should be free, thier paid option is lame. Gamespy rocks tho , but i never download anything from fileplanet. 3Dgamers is the best place for downloading demos or whatever.

It won't let me in with my specs. Time to upgrade  :(

I have:
Pentium IV 2.8ghz
Geforce 6800 256MB
2GB RAM

I see a Quad-Core in my future.

seriously unimpressed, not the BF2 killer I was expecting and SD gave the impression of producing, its too fast and all over the place for me I fear and I don't think it will change at all.  :'(

weightless vehicles, pointless tactical features, cluttered UI, awful sound, crappy explosive effects.

This really isn't Quake-it's the next iteration of the Enemy Territory "franchise", if you can call it that (the first game, Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory, is up there with Battlefield and Counter-Strike in terms of playerbase on the PC).
