Just name every single TV show you've seen that features a giant robot. Doesn't have to be animated. Doesn't have to be Japanese. But no regular-sized robots. Only giant ones apply.

I joke with her about that all the time, actually. We met in college, but didn't get together until after graduation when I was in graduate school. We share a lot of the same interests, like foreign/indie films, music, NPR, extreme liberalism, etc. It all works very well.

I watched five episodes of Macross I think once. Five of us had fled to our office building to get warmth and microwaved food during a massive ice storm a few years back (all power was lost everywhere), and no one brought movies for the projector save one duder with some anime.
