Most of them have quit sega and are now freelance, but when I ask them they are ALWAYS like "IF SEGA WAS MAKING SHENMUE 3 I WOULD TOTALLY FUCKING GO WORK FOR THEM AGAIN BECAUSE THE STORY MUST BE MOTHERFUCKING FINISHED AND WE ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN RAH RAH DREEEEEEAMCAST!"
I fucking *translated* chunks of shenmue 2 (the parts that made sense kekeke) and never got paid because the outsourcer was a scumbag BUT I STILL DON'T CARE BECAUSE I GOT TO WORK ON SHENMUE 2
also: people at other game companies hate shenmue so much they refuse to acknowledge its existence
