If that was the case, I almost might as well quit gaming (although I do like Sony Computer Entertainment and MS Game Studios stuff). I like those publishers a lot, but I only like the direction of the PSP, PS3, and 360 (which is why I support those three the most). If I see those devs make non-games for DS/Wii, I'm going to be very angry. I've had a DS for a long time and just can't get into it (I really don't like the type of games it has at all and its ruined many series I love), where I've bought many of its games, but I find myself trading in everyone due to quickly becoming bored with them (only games I kept really were Sonic, Mega Man, and Mario Kart). I absolutely don't like the Wii because I want impressive graphics (I have a really nice HDTV and non-next gen consoles look terrible on it), actual games, want a HDD (no 512MB internal memory and not being able to play VC games off of an SD Card), and I hate freaking standing up to play video games. I want to lay down in bed while holding my controller.
I use to like Nintendo a lot with the SNES and I mostly liked the GBA (Had the type of games I want with no touch screen, waggle controls, etc. Only thing that bothered me about the GBA was the sound quality and screen).
Namco Bandai had some PSP games that actually performed well. Tekken DR did sell 1 million worldwide, Ace Combat X sold decently (over 300k worldwide), and Ridge Racer (first one) on PSP outsold both RR7 and RR6 possibly combined (before the mega price drops). Gundam Battle Tactics did well in Japan. From what I remember, Tales of the Tempest bombed really bad on DS, and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology on PSP outsold it. Tales of Eternia and Tales of Destiny 2 port seems to have performed pretty good too on PSP, while Tales of Phantasia Full Voice seems to have done okay (but not all that well, because who is going to buy the 4th version of the game anyway). I really don't see Namco Bandai completely dropping them on PSP, but I could see them throwing tons of anime licenses on DS.
I don't see what Sega support they're talking about, since Sega has definitely put out more DS games than PSP games over the years (most Sega's PSP games are for western markets, or all ports in Japan).
As for Capcom, I noticed a drop in support, but I can't understand why they wouldn't support PSP. Monster Hunter Freedom is a huge success and I've never seen Capcom have any other handheld game sell that well. It's just a matter of making the right game (which they did) on PSP. I really think if they made DMC on PSP, it would do well. I know the Mega Man remakes didn't do too well, but the two problems I see were they were released too early (when PSP was $250, so most kids didn't have one), and the game really isn't suited for the PSP market (I enjoyed it, but cannot deny it isn't suited for the PSP crowd).
