So RAW has been cancelled and they're just going to be showing clips of Benoit in tribute; too many wrestlers are too broken up to even go on camera and express their condolences, much less wrestle.

Apparently Benoit missed the pay-per-view show on sunday because his wife and kid were coughing up blood, and now they're all dead. One site that there may have been a gun involved; some people think that his wife and kid died and then Benoit shot himself afterward.

I just hope even the tasteless WWE realizes that this death angle is fucking wrong and stops it. Two people have died since it began.

edit: To be fair, Vonnegut had lived a long life, and as such his death was neither as shocking nor tragic. His loss though, was immeasurable compared to that of Benoit however, obviously.

I'm hearing its a murder suicide, if that is the case, well i cant say i am shocked, i feel sorry for his wife and son, but if he killed his wife and son, well i dont feel sorry for him, his actions. However, i feel bad for him, because the devil tricked him and he fell for the devils tricks.

I think this is what happened:

He was wrestling with his son, when Chris Benoit went crazy and thought his son Dave was David Flair, Ric Flairs son, so he puts him in a Crossface and pulls a little too tight snappin the lil' guys neck.
Realizing what he does, he panicks and runs into the kitchen. He see's his wife making some sweet apple pie, and decides to not tell her but instead give her the 3 Suplexes from hell. Since she is a women and inferior, this kills her. He then realizes what he does and gives himself a tombstone piledriver while Jim Ross is outside screaming "AWMAHGAWD!"

I just think it's a stretch to call anyone a hero for writing stories, regardless of their level of technical skill.

You could make an argument for someone like Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn being a hero, but that's not really based on artistic achievement.
