Cormacaroni, it's not like I get paid until we get funding.

It's actually for a project I had been tinkering with, but I always assumed it was dependent on the success of another project since it would require a hefty budget. It was kind of "When a break comes my way, this will be my next gig!" type of project.

But my two producing pals sat me down today on the phone, after the Redskins loss, to tell me that they believe they can attack it head-on without this other project necessarily selling (or selling first). So I'm to suck it up and make it a priority, or they will cut off my knee caps.

... I am working on writing copy for a pretty lame site they're going to use to host the teaser of this other project they are currently attempting to sell, so when that's up, I'll link it to you guys.

I've written two features, so the page count is not frightening - just the time frame. I've been writing what add up to be essentially short film screenplays in length, which has actually been quite difficult, since I'm cramming a lot of stuff into a small amount of time.

Holy shit, my meeting with the prof about the NSERC thing went great.  He said I was at the top of the list for him and that the only problem will be my 82% overall average which is right at the bottom of the cut off, which might be a hindrance if the awards committee doesn't look at my compsci marks.   Anyways he said I was exactly what he was looking for.  The project is basically to reorganize a library in c to c++.
