) It's been kind of a yawner. They spent way to much time focusing on the stupid ambulance spot with Reigns/Strowman and then made the odd decision to have Slater/Hawkins in a match, which they cut away from to go back to the ambulance shit.

So the Brock/Joe match is probably going to be like five minutes.

Enjoyed some of GBOF. WTF were they thinking with Hawkins though...

Strowman was a delight and I burst into laughter with the spear dodge into the amberlamps. Loved it.

Wish Joe vs Lesnar would have gone on for five more minutes, but I can't complain. Was really pulling for Joey Samoey, because I am a mark and by god I loved it.

I've seen some people complain that Joe has to *cheat* a lot and still lost. I have no problem with Joe playing dirty, it fits his character. He'll play dirty but he'll also genuinely fuck you up regardless.

But yeah, he came off looking pretty good. Dominating Lesnar several times and withstanding his offense. I don't think he's out of the picture, not with the way he looked on as Lesnar left the ring.

Everyone thinks it'll be Roman vs. Lesnar at Summerslam and while I think it's still likely - I can also see either: Joe vs. Lesnar vs. Reigns OR Reigns vs. Strowman in a last man standing match or something and a Joe vs. Lesnar rematch.

I do with Joe would have got out of that F5, just once. Felt like it wouldn't keep him down either, so I was a bit surprised.

I think WWE has to notice how hot that program was, and while they planned for it just to be a stopgap, there's some legs there.

Yeah if anyone needs the help with promos it's JJ, and Kurt is the perfect person to work with on that. He has the look down 100% so once he gets better on the mic he's going to be a real threat for years to come. Plus if you are going to use Kurt in any angle (lol) might as well be on that is as silly as possible, that's where he thrives the most.

I started watching the Network interview with Jason and Kurt and turned it off after a couple of minutes. It was kind of awkward and cringe-worthy. I will give props to both of them for seeming legit into the angle-- Kurt was absolutely beaming about connecting with his "son."

I can also see this just bombing and nobody caring, but if they do it right, it could help propel Jason Jordan to stardom. Personally I think he should be a heel along with a heel Kurt as his manager/mouthpiece. But I'm sure he'll be the face and they'll probably have Chad Gable come in as his opponent instead.

Not everything is a hit, but there's a lot of things people were down on their debut or decisions made and they ended up being the right ones. Ones like pushing Roman out of the three Shield guys, Strowman getting a callup without NXT TV. Vince is still a hitmaker.

I think I remember reviews of a previous Punjabi Prison match saying how bad it was to watch because of the cages making it hard to see. It did feel like that when they were in the first cage. Didn't like the match much there but it got better once they were outside that first cage.

Depends on how you define famous. He was already huge in Japan and had just come off of a year long, well selling feud with Andre in 1980, had done TV with Lou Ferrigno, and had exploded in AWA before Rocky III came out.

Yeah, I mean pre-Hulkamania (as in before even non-wrestling fans knew him). When I first saw the movie, I figured he got the part because of Hulkamania, but he wasn't even ever a face in the US until after R3 came out.
