also i think mikage is a new role model for me. i want to build a confessional elevator and tell people to go deeper and that their only choice is to revolutionize the world.

Now you're ready for Cross Ange.

I am so behind on this show.   :(

In the preview for the last episode, they were like "We never even explained the title, what does the 'Cross' part mean?" "Uh, I guess it's because Ange is always cross?"

Gundam Unicorn

Thought it was gonna be like the modern 0083, great visuals, giant mecha, dumb story/characters, but it's actually alright.  Like mid-tier Gundam imo.  The final 90 movie was epic and satisfying even if all the full frontal stuff is nonsense and all the fights came down to space magic and no actual pilot skills or strategy.  Was better than I expected.

Also, if I ever have a kid (unlikely) if he's a boy I think I want to name him Bright after Bright Noa, the most badass man in all of Gundam.

Watched the first episode of Assassination Classroom and will stick to it; I read the manga a few months ago but dropped it for unknown reasons. So far the anime seems pretty aight.

Finally got around to watching GITS: Arise...

I mean, it's not bad, but it really lacks identity and there didn't seem to be any sort of overarching story or philosophical motivation behind the political side of things. Motoko's character is fairly well done though, with a believable level of recklessness and naivety (not much, but just enough) given she's younger. You can understand some of her events being partly why she's the cynic we see in SAC.

FWIW, the first episode is pretty good, but should've been the launchpad as opposed to being the best of the four.

I dunno, don't a lot of people name kids after they favorite musicians, movie stars growing up?  Not seeing how that's any different and Bright seems like a better name than Noah.

Last two animes I watched were

Knights of Sidonia. I came in expecting nothing, and came out pleasantly surprised. It wasn't incredible, but not bad. :leon

Then I did a binge of Trigun. First time I watched it. :lawd

Wife's on a moe kick. We watched K-on together. I actually really liked the first season the second season though just lost all steam all together.

there's a movie too, it's pretty good. don't know if you'd like it if you didn't like the slower/slice of life-er s2 though, but it's worth watching.

So Sora is Yuuta's niece (not blood related) and is 14 years old for most of the show/novel/whatever.  Conveniently 18 to get married after a four-year timeskip.  And entirely creepy.  What happened to that big-tittied girl Yuuta went to college with?  I would have thought she would be the new mom.

Bones might be onto something with Blood Blockade Battlefront. Other than Space Dandy and Star Driver what else have they made worth a damn in the last 5 years?

I quit Captain Earth cause it was pretty shit and Chaika looks like some bullshit.

I know E7:AO and Soul Eater Not are garbage so I'm not even going to bother with those.

A lot of nice shows I've seen thus far: Arslan, Seraph, Triage X(lol the censorship), Plastic Memories, Blood Blockade Battlefront. Surprisingly I liked Plastic Memories the most.

Popped the spring anime 2015 cherry with Triage-X.  It's like High School Of The Dead, but with more guns and even more ridiculously-large breasts!

There's a lot of shows from last season I never finished.  Probably won't bother with the exception of Aldnoah Zero and Cross Ange.
