Here's a nice tip for those who want to run through Final Fantasy XII with ease, especially bosses, and expose the huge cracks in the game's "deep" system.
In Final Fantasy XII you have 6 characters, three of which are useable at one time. Of course, this is one of the reasons why this game is bad, but I will not delve on that.
On the License Board, you have the option of giving your characters Quickenings - or Limit Breaks.
While you have three characters out, the other three do not receive XP, but do gain LP. This is invaluable.
What you want to do is get as many Quickenings as you can during the course of your game, especially on the three characters you barely touch. The shorter, the better.
With all your characters equipped with Quickenings, make sure they all have Max MP, as Quickenings erase your MP to 0 after use.
When you approach a boss, bring out your weaker three characters, and trigger a Mist Knack. From here, you start off chaining Knacks, try to do it as much as you can. When you eventually run out, swap back to your main party and trigger another Mist Knack, and chain up as much as you can.
If you can rack up enough of a chain, you can easily deal 1/2 or even 3/4 of the boss' health, or possibly destroy it in one hit.
This is similar to Final Fantasy X's "Aeon Rush" technique.
This is why Final Fantasy XII's system is broken and leaky.
