Cerium's been a good dude whenever I've PM'd him with issues, but the rest of the staff pretty much ignores concerns. "If you have concerns about moderation, please PM a mod or admin... so we can ignore you." Again, except Cerium, in my experience.
that's how I felt but then he flipped out and effectively permed me. Yes, I got permed for pissing off the owner and not because I was being a contrarian ass who liked to stir up Enzom.
I saw this guy got banned again.
I only noticed it because his last ban was for mildly disagreeing with Beefy.
So I PM'ed Cerium who has always been cool.
It turns out my warning was not for questioning that ban but a different one and saying "This should be for 24 hours, not a week." I was told under the "strongest terms" to avoid backseat moderation.
Ok, fine. I won't PM a mod when I have questions of moderation anymore. But then he jumps back into it and demands I answer why I thought the warning was for one thing and not the other.
I admit I was confused and made a mistake.
You have been banned for the following reason: Filing a false complaint, trolling the staff, abusing the report system, on an alt account.
The alt account had been approved on the conditions that any further ban would be a perm. I think it was because I didn't
"confirm and my understanding and acceptance" in the five minute window he gave me.
So be aware.
DO NOT pm mods with questions of moderation! If they are cranky they will demand "understanding" and then "action" you if you don't respond in time. Just post, "why was that guy banned?" and live to post another day.
But yeah, Cerium says "actioned." It's not just a SweetNicole newspeak.
