halfway through act 4 on insane, sea monster boss was annoying.

Having heaps of trouble with horde mode, anyone have any tips? Ive been doing public sessions but the team always cacks it around wave 16 or so. Is there a good map you can do it casual solo on? Or does anyone want to team up?

oh and does the lancer count as a separate weapon in the menu or does it switch out the regular one? gold lancer is pretty fugly but I want it anyway

Its an ok fight, the sea monster is pretty cool looking but the battle is too long for its own good.

No its not as good as the RE4 one, its pretty hard to top most things from that game. Cant freaking wait for RE5. Whats hte release date again?

that bullshit ending. Seriously? No boss fight? The last 15 minute of gameplay was probably the most boring portion of the series that I can remember, and since I wasn't paying attention to the story at all I really thought that lame-ass Brumak ride was leading up to something big.

There were some very awesome sequences of the game though. I guess I liked it better than GoW1, but then again I haven't played that all the way through since its release.

I beat the game on Insane solo, it was comparatively cake compared to shit like Call of Duty and Stranglehold

It's funny, but the moment that has stuck with me from the campaign, is when Marcus and Dom are in a building, and the floor starts falling, and it's like pomp, pomp, pomp, pomp, till you reach ground level.

That was pretty awesome.

Not favorite moment, just the moment that stuck. From that you might extrapolate that i found the game to not be very memorable at all, or you might try to act like a smartass.

It's probably just because i thought it was well thought. I guess part of me likes to see what others can think of, you know, how they use their creative minds to come up with little moments.

But i guess if you are more self centered, you will always be more worried about what you made happen. Not surprising.

Well i'm glad i didn't see it at the conference. Funny thing with GOW2 is that, i unwillingly went through a media blackout with it. I wasn't very hyped for it at all, so i never felt the urge to see footage of it.

I got this game at kind of a bad time; was getting ready to move so I really haven't played much of it, but it has pretty much become "That Horde Game." Don't play anything else; played campaign for maybe 10 minutes when I first got it and a few online matches, but Horde has dominated the game for me and it's all my friends want to play. I hope Gears 3 offers 5-player campaign co-op.

And yea they came out with a map pack, I was not going to buy until they fixed multiplayer but my friend went and bought it as soon as he saw it without thinking. So I might have to.

I'm almost on the fifth act so far it hasn't been as good as the first. It's not nearly as hard and the level design is more closed in.
