I mean I know most of the fans were in on the joke and Cena would have gotten over anyway, but still, the way it's presented in the documentary just feels weird and almost propagandish

FFS, why do they try to gloss over and/or change this crap?

I loved heel thug-gangsta-wannabe Cena. That was when the gimmick really worked, lol. Calling his finisher the F.U. and mocking Lesnar's finisher name was also great.

The whole gimmick came from Cena doing purposefully-corny little raps and shit backstage. IIRC it was a Vanilla Ice impression and they even had him do it on Smackdown before the gimmick change.

I also remember reading dirt sheet shit about his gimmick- other wrasslers were pissed off, because he got to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes to keep with kayfabe when traveling, despite the WWE having a dress code at the time.

Apparently Goldberg won't be at Mania, just the blood money show. Less wrestlers signed up to go over there than last year, too.

You left off the SD champ, who should still be Bray Wyatt by Mania. Roman is certain to be the challenger following the Elimination Chamber PPV. One of the shows before Mania will be the end of the Baron Corbin feud.
