Infinity Ward CoD :yuck

I wonder if you can possess people

Thread for Stoney only.
Nah. I'm passing on the non-Treyarch editions of COD from now on.

Infinity Ward CoD :yuck
I think Black Ops II is the best Call of Duty since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, but since when is Infinity Ward the lesser developer? CoD 1, 2, and 4 were all great. When did it switch?
After MW 2 was the whole infinity ward split from Activision. The real Infinity Ward is Respawn with EA.

Maybe you have to kill ghosts. Like the ghost of Hitler is haunting Berlin and the only thing that can kill him is Patton's gun.
-
Thus why MW3 was hot garbage.
-
MW 2 is a really fun campaign. There is a lot to like in the multiplayer but it was ruined by stuff like nukes, nube toobs, unbalanced weapons. Infinity Ward may have been able to patch that stuff to fix it but we'll never know as the whole break-up happened during that time.
MW 3 was the biggest piece of shit ever. I fucking hate that game with all my heart and soul. The MP in it is the worst thing ever.
-
Maybe you can get a haunted gun that captures the souls of your enemies after you shoot them. So you really want to hold on to that one SOCOM because whenever you use it you can faintly hear ghosts going "Ooooooooo"
Also, maybe it glows

Here is a million dollar idea I would prefer.
Release COD 4 Director's cut on XBLA/PSN/Steam.
Fix the hacking stuff like in the later editions of COD.
Release it for 20 bucks or something in that vein.
Do a couple of smart balance tweaks needed to any perks or guns like removing Martydom/Last Stand from the game. Fix Host migration.
Release a couple of map packs for it.
Profit.
or do essentially a best of COD Mp game for this gen.
Take the best of and what people like from each game.
Take the best maps, the favorite weapons, the best perks, and rebalance them in relation to each other.
Profit.
I prefer both of those things to Call of Duty Ghosts.

Is Kerrigan a playable character?
-
Phantoms...Ghosts....should have went with Poltergeists instead.
-
Sometimes you shoot a guy but really it's a ghost and he makes a scary face.
-
CoD: Cool Unit Name
-
Can't wait to see the crazier ideas when/if the series' sales slow down. Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero went in weird directions hoping something will stick. A year or two after that is when stoney's idea of a CoD4-classic would show up. This is assuming Destiny or another Activision franchise steps up to become the bread winner, and that people will tire of the CoD gameplay.
Mostly I want to see Call of Duty: Generations. Darkest of Days with a budget.
-
Wait this is real now as I remember this info being posted before.
-
Maybe you have to kill ghosts. Like the ghost of Hitler is haunting Berlin and the only thing that can kill him is Patton's gun.
Would play the shit out of this
-
nazi wraiths from the future?
-
cant wait for Call of Duty Medieval Warfare aka Chivalry with a budget
I want that too.

No WiiU? :lol :lol

Wii U is sooooo dead. Beyond saving at this point.

Curious to see if it actually is a new engine and if that changes anything gameplay wise.

Maybe "Wii U" was included in "next-generation platforms"

We don’t have any news for the Wii U at this time, as we aren’t dating next generation platforms yet. Stay tuned
:derp
-
Xbox3 'exclusive' will be funny. At least as long as its for games I don't care about, and there's still a pc version.
Wii u version will probably happen. I think only modern warfare 2 skipped the wii; modern warfare 1 released instead. But modern warfare 3 wii was announced like a week before launch.

Someone come up with a "You know why they call it Call of Duty Ghosts? Because ____" joke please

As sad as it is, I'd buy it another three times. :'( CoD4 is probably the best outing of the series this generation. Only downside is the DLC maps weren't really "good" and there wasn't enough maps added since they had to crap out CoD6/MW2 really fast.

After Battlefield 4 and TitanFall videos today, I'm even less interested in this game if that's possible but here are some videos anyway. I actually think the second one is impressive in many ways. I think the tech there looks good. But its the actual game I have no interest in.

For what its worth the MP reveal is today.

I'll watch though and mention if anything seems interesting.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-08-02-activision-blames-low-call-of-duty-ghosts-pre-orders-on-next-gen-hesitation
Preorders are down on Ghosts. While it will still sell big numbers the fatigue that is setting in on the franchise is real. Anecdotally, none of my shooter friends are excited for this title at all. Unfortunate since Black Ops 2 is probably my favorite one.
-
I don't know if it's that people are tired of CoD or that Ghosts simply doesn't look interesting. Of what's been shown, it's coming off like the shoddiest CoD since CoD3.
-

I think its a combination of all that stuff. And the marketing so far has been just the worst for it. It has taken them this long to show mp. You could get away with that back with MW 2 because everybody was feverish about the series and what they were going to do. Now people are just tired of being jerked around.
When the thing most people know about your game is that it has a dog, you've screwed up with your marketing message.

I'll update this with info about what is revealed.
Maps have scripted destructible elements.
Character customization. 20,0000 combinations. You can play as a female.
New Class of Weapons. Marksman rifle.
Dual Render scopes. (Like Red Orchestra)
Point system to choose loadout.
20 new killstreaks.
Squad System. You get 10 characters. You can prestige each of them once which is now how the prestige system works.
No death streaks
New Modes: Cranked (Sounds really stupid), faster crazier TDM mode, Search & Rescue (S&D with revives via dogtags), Squads (bot mode you can play with your squad you've created). There are a number of squad modes. 4 player co-op survival horde style mode.
Corner leaning. No buttons. Mantling. Knee slide.
Says they will support esports like Black ops 2. Info to be annouced later. There will be a COD championship for 2014 and Ghosts will be on the MLG circuit.
App/Ios support. Stats, Change loadouts during game. Join clans via ios devices.
-
So far very underwhelming. It looks like Modern Warfare 3 to me. I can't tell if they are playing on Next Gen or Current gen. It looks like MW 3.

Decent wrap up video.
IW is being annoyingly coy about whether the game will have dedicated servers or not.
-
Wasn't that next gen console footage?
-
Wasn't that next gen console footage?
Yes.
The only real difference is that the texture quality seems somewhat higher. Everything else including the animations look exactly like it does in the current gen version of COD.
-
The thing is honestly I don't even really care about the graphics. A fun game is a fun game regardless of whether the graphics are cutting edge or not. The thing is none of the new features sound really cool to me. IW has a tendency just to toss shit into a game without any sort of reason. The additions Treyarch tend to add, make sense and are generally an attempted response to some flaw or something missing.
-
I mean I'm with you on the graphics. I'd still play Halo 2 if it was online. Hell I still play BF2 because I love the maps.
But if you're going next gen, well I mean I'm expecting next gen and CoD's supposed to be a top series. And I'm not seeing it.
I'm not a CoD fan and probably not privy to the nuances and whatnot. It's fun, I get that. I've enjoyed my time with the numerous CoD games. Ghost just looks so tired, it's the game all the detractors have accused the series of being. Blops 2 had some new ideas in the sp that surprisingly worked, Blops 1 was well polished and had some new mp modes and general game changes that made sense, and the MW games rightfully lived off MW1.
I just don't see what Ghost is actually doing other then filling the release for the year. And that kind of sucks because BF is right at it's door. BF4 looks great and supposedly will run at 60frames on next gen.
I guess it was stupid to expect the first cross gen CoD to really do something, but hey I did. Gotta wait till the one thats full next gen.

I don't disagree with much of that. I like COD and Battlefield for obviously completely different reasons. Battlefield 4 looks completely sick and DICE seem like they are trying their ass off.
Ghosts is like some lazy shit. And I feel I can say that because I'm not just hating on COD to hate on COD like a lot of forum types do. I like the series. But this seems like a half assed edition. The destruction shit on the maps for instance is so blatantly a gimmick to try to put a feature on the back of the box to match Battlefield 4.
-
I don't think we'll see a full next gen call of duty for another two or three years. At some point the last gen version will become the afterthought, like the Wii versions were, or BF3/4 on 360/PS3; 30 fps, lower player count, etc.

probably a smart decision. when you're top dog, it's not worth alienating your 150m+ current gen base by making them feel like they got the gimp edition.
-
Im not feeling this cod either, and ive put in a at least 200+ hours into cod multi this gen. MW1 is prob my fav game this gen.
Ill prob go for BF4 and then titanfall, at least these feel fresh. I just put 10 hours into bf3 mp and getting my ass kicked so lookinh forward to starting semi fresh with 4

How did this series go from storming Stalingrad to being a space commando and dog whisperer? I mean doesn't this look more intense?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWFw0EFXGaE&feature=youtube_gdata_player
I really do like the crazy one man army shit like in BO2 but this game looks too slow-paced for a call of duty game. It doesn't feel visceral enough.
-
These games can go fuck themselves
It's weird, I was playing Last of Us and even though I was kinda meh on the whole experience, it was way better having a story where a building isn't collapsing on you every 30 seconds
-
The campaign will probably be a decent enough roller coaster like they generally are, the problem for me tonally is that this one seems to take itself very seriously where as I felt the real infinity ward in COD 4, MW 2, and Treyarch to a lesser degree in the Black Ops series kind of understand these games work best in comic book tones with comic book characters. The marketing for Ghosts though is all somber dirge like music like its some real serious shit.
-
the muted inception horn at the end of that trailer seems quite fitting.
"yeah, we know this shit's played out, but it's still gonna sell so fuck it"
-
Back when MW came out I was like "For MW2's bonus mission they should have a mission where you're a soldier on the space shuttle and OH NO IT TURNS OUT THAT A BUNCH OF TERRORISTS HAVE STOWED AWAY IN THE CARGO AREA!"
I wasn't being serious

It's not the crazy stuff in the game that bothers me personally. I'm fine with that stuff.
It's that the fundamental gameplay won't be any different during those sections. It's like a change of scenery just to make something look fresh when its the same old stuff. Like how many times will you do a door breach in Ghosts. It was neat when it was in the first game for the first time. But they are still iterating very minutely on those same tropes.
At least the Black Ops 2 storyline experiments with new stuff. Some of it works and some of it doesn't but it feels like they try more.

I like those characters too. Because they feel like comic book characters. But I don't get that vibe from what they are showing here.

The more interesting bits of news recently have revolved around the multiplayer anyway with the dedicated server stuff and the talk about nerfing quick scoping. Those are more relevant to the mass of people who end up putting in the most time in the game anyway.
-
Watched some streaming of the game. Looks a lot like MW 3 which I detested. Extreme lethality of weapons where it feels like you have no chance in gun fights if they see you first. Wasn't going to get it anyway but its nice to see my fears confirmed.

Oh it's a ghost alright, this thread that is.

I went to the supermarket around 11pm tonite and it's right next to a GameStop... there were like 3 or 4 dudes waiting outside, I asked one of the people what they were lining up for and he said this game. Was surprised to see so few people for a COD game, I thought COD games usually got a shitload of people lining up?

Watching a stream and man the guy is ripping into the game's mp and he is a cod fan. Apparently the maps are huge for a 6 on 6 game cod game. And they got rid of groundwar on the current gen versions.

But thankfully, Nvidia is on the case:
In a forthcoming game update, NVIDIA GPU-accelerated animal fur, and NVIDIA GPU-accelerated PhysX effects.
NVIDIA GPU-accelerated animal fur will add high-quality, realistic, dynamically-reacting fur to Riley, NPC wolves, and multiplayer attack dogs.
NVIDIA GPU-accelerated PhysX will add realistic, dynamically-reacting particle effects throughout the game, dramatically enhancing their appearance.

There's a cracking flashback level in which a dam is blown in Caracas and the city floods, I didn't get any screens but it looks a lot better than anything in BO2. There's a great looking level that flips between copters and troops on some kind of oil rig / refinery too.
It seems cool to hate on COD these days, and TBH I'd welcome some FPS fatigue in this industry, but it seems no worse than others to me. No worse than I expected. Its the equivalent of popcorn movies. And quite fun for it.

When did we decide the allure of this series is graphics? I kind of feel like that thinking is wishful thinking on the part of PC / BF4 fans or something. As long as playing campaign is like being in a terrible action movie, and it looks good enough, and MP plays in such a way that most people can feel good / competitive -- people are always going to play these games. They're the casual/tweenager friendly hardcore-lite shooter. These games are analogous to Mario Kart or something to me. It objectively looks plenty better than BO2; the only justifiable reasons people have to bitch are modelling choices in a few iffy areas in very large and otherwise good looking levels, and because this comes in the context where we've seen some games specifically built for next gen. I've no doubt Activision won't like having any bad press, so I imagine Treyarch or whoever runs the next one will be under instructions to up their game. All the other noise is just another dumb internet bandwagon for people who weren't going to buy the game to jump on, while the people who actually buy it probably have a lot of fun.

The problem with COD Ghosts isn't one of graphics. It's one of laziness in a lot of different ways. The marketing of this game seems to still be relying on the same bag of tricks when everybody was hyped for MW 2 and its simply not that world anymore. Eventually that catches up to you especially when you are doing yearly games.
There have always been people who hate on COD because its popular. But this year, the way they've tried to market has simply been out of touch. Overly focusing on the dog. Hyping up of things that other series are doing better or that don't really matter in the long run. It really feels like the Guitar Hero thing even though this series will never just go away unlike Guitar Hero which was a niche genre that happened to just get hot.
COD Ghosts will still sell a ton. And I'm sure the campaign is still as popcorn fun as it ever was. But reviewers are starting to go stale on it as witnessed by this years review scores and we'll see how the tail sales are on this version as compared to prior editions.

I liked the single player campaign.
My multiplayer thoughts:
1. Maps are huge for 6 on 6. Probably way too big.
2. Spawns are wacky. People will spawn in front of or behind you. Seems to be especially common around corner areas. Been killed a ton of times by someone spawning behind me and them having an easy kill.
3. What happened to the ability to see how well you connect to a room? The 1-4 bar thing in all the other Call of duty games. . It was so useful in helping you compensate for lag issues in your play.
4. Multipayer makes me want to take the game back to Gamestop and demand a full refund.
-
I could have predicted all the issues with multiplayer. Infinity Ward is literally a monkey throwing shit at a wall when it comes to that side of the coin.
They don't understand how to fix the problems of the series.
You can't have massive maps in COD. All it does is encourage people to hole up and not move and camp more because it makes things very unpredictable.
You can't have extreme lethality with all weapons in COD. All it does is encourage people to hole up and not move and camp more.
Extremely loud footsteps and movement noises only help campers. Because the guys not moving can hear you and get the benefit because they aren't moving.
Since you already reward camping by killing streaks building up access to kill streak rewards, it only increases the camping even more.
Spawning people behind you and random spawns behind you without any warning only increases camping because people are afraid to move. A simple announcer saying spawns have flipped would do a world of good for pub games.
You have to do everything in your power to encourage movement in a COD game for it to be fun. So if you don't understand the fundamentals of COD game design, you can't actually design a good cod game. Infinity Ward does not have that ability.

Since you already reward camping by killstreak building on streaks, it only increases the camping even more.
So if you don't understand the fundamentals of COD game design, you can't actually design a good cod game.
Definitely encourages camping. I'll say the spawn issues helps push people to camp even more. Why run and gun if all that is likely to happen is someone spawns right behind you after you turn a corner? The multiplayer just feels subpar after having played Black Ops 2 and even MW3.

I have a feeling a lot of multiplayer designers design in a company bubble. Where people play in a fun "honorable" manner and move about like when you play with friends. But when you design a game for the masses, you have to take into account the way people actually play the game and design against what aids the lowest common denominator asshat.
-
I could believe that. The people who work on a game, know its featureset and the way its intended to be played. Real competitors don't give a shit, they'll resort to fun-killing tactics to get a kill/win.
I played a little MP last night, I'm still not used to all the maps, but they seem designed to have open areas with plenty of cover, and indoor / wreckage areas you can use for positional advantage or laying traps. They *are* a little on the large side for 6v6, so if they add new maps later on, hopefully they include a couple of small ones. If it weren't for the occasionally assholish spawning, this would feel a lot less chaotic than BO2, and I think that might be a good thing. I think people might camp more because of what you've suggested, but that could equally be because they're not intimately knowledgeable of the larger/complex levels yet. I find the automatic audio-callouts from players' characters make it interesting and potentially helpful... you're being told when someone is on the balcony, first level, or out in the open, as soon as someone makes line-of-sight... I don't think you can necessarily play the same way you played in BO2, but that's not to say you can't play and become skilled at MP in this game.
I was reading on the COD forums that dedicated servers aren't up for all platforms in all regions yet, so if you're having technical MP issues or migrating hosts - that's why. There are suggestions that a few things are fixed in the next patch as well.
-
Didn't know the game would have dedicated servers for 360 users eventually Hopefully the next patch fixes the spawn issues. MP wouldn't be so bad if the spawning wasnt so terrible. Its the root of alot of problems in itself.
-
For me what I hope is that next gen fundamentally forces them to rethink what the series needs and actually do major changes in some cases rather than continue to just re-arrange the furniture when it comes to multiplayer.
There is just stuff in the series that seems like it needs to be rethought. Like why is prone even in the game anymore. It served a purpose when it was COD 2 or something and the game was completely different but with what COD is now why is there a prone in the series. If someone designed COD now for the first time, there wouldn't even be a prone. It wouldn't make sense. It's not that kind of series.
I'm fine with Infinity Ward sort of being the "cranked" iteration of COD. Like Treyarch games are the more tactical versions and the IW games are the crazy versions. That actually sounds like a decent philosophy. But I think the games need to be re-envisioned in that manner. Everything in the games should support that vision.
-
I think they need to do a "generations" type game where you maybe follow a single family throughout several wars. You'd have some cool, interesting set pieces and mixing up of levels, so that would invigorate the SP a little bit, and you'd have a great variety in the MP maps with maybe an opportunity to introduce new gameplay depending on the map.

to be fair, Michael Bay also reuses scenes from his older movies.
-
I liked the single player campaign.
:-\ This is not sounding good.

Are those both from the ending of each game? I can't remember what happened in MW2 aside from defending the Burger King and Home Depot
-
Bork,
Lots of people seem to love it too, so I'd suggest trying it out if you can before you throw money down on it. Personally I'm hoping the next patch/patches fix the spawning issues, which would be immensely helpful overall. I still wish the connection indicator was still available.

No. The MW 2 one was from the end of the game. The Ghosts one is from about 15 minutes into the game.

Oh, I'm still going to get it, but I'm going in with low expectations. I wasn't thrilled with MW3 either. If there weren't new consoles launching (getting this on PS4), I'd just be sticking with BLOPS2.
-

The ghosts clip is a tiny bit from the intro of the game which involves a giant space laser called Odin bein fired on California, you're running around while buildings, roads and pavements collapse / explode, eventually taking refuge in a house. Theres a '15 minutes earlier' flashback that heavily channels Gravity (maybe a bit of Moonraker) while you float through space and spacecraft in an attempt to stop Odin, then it cuts back to Earth just before that scene where you're knocked to your feet by the chaos from the blast... dude picking you up is your brother.
The 'hurrr lazy devs' thread about that is perplexing really when you've played it in its wider context. Seems a deliberate nod to me.

Are you really gonna defend CALL OF DUTY developers being called out as lazy? Did we not already get proof that they re-use assets in these games before? :P

I wouldn't use the word lazy only because it implies that the devs have a call in this stuff or that they wouldn't rather push the edge which is not something they probably have the clout to do. I think they are probably doing whatever they need to do to ship the game on time. The fact that the game needs a new engine and a real new engine not just continuing to bolt on to the old one is something that has to be supported from a management structure. So do other forward looking initiatives.
Activision management is extremely conservative. They will throw whatever resources they can at the game as long as they think it will help to sell more but they are not very progressive. The fact that they haven't had a team in the background just working on unleashing a new kick ass engine for next gen with all the money they've banked in recent years shows this mindset.

So they re-used animation. Whatever. Game developers should, it's a good cost cutting thing. Let's ignore that the opening is basically filled with a gigantic and kind of cool disaster set-piece and focus on the small re-use of something pretty irreverent.

Can I install disc 1? Or is this like GTAVwhere they say yo shouldnt do that

When did we decide the allure of this series is graphics? I kind of feel like that thinking is wishful thinking on the part of PC / BF4 fans or something. As long as playing campaign is like being in a terrible action movie, and it looks good enough,
When CoD4 came out. I remember people in ahh about how good and lifelike the ghillie suit part they demoed at whatever E3 that was. How amazing it looked and the animation. I remember 1up years talking about how great it looked during the MS conference and how it upstaged Halo 3's cheap looking animation.
Then when MW2 came out it was also praised for it's looks and how the faces looked. I remember people talking about the early scene in MW2 where you are ice climbing, you fall, and complete with a huge face shot your partner saves you. The games did look great at the time of release and they ran extremely well. It was only when you stopped to actually pay attention did you notice bad textures, but what was made to be looked at looked good.
It's just with MW3 they started to look pretty tired and now with Ghost it's just kind of well bad. I'm playing on PC with mostly high settings and it looks quite honestly pretty bad. Especially for what should be a huge big budget franchisee. Hopefully the full next gen CoD looks a step up, because on looks pretty much every other FPS has CoD beat.
But you know what, it's not just sheer hoarse power or maybe it is. I'm playing BF4 on medium settings and it blows Ghost out of the water. Quite honestly that may have to also be due to art design which is strange to say maybe with these modern military shooters.
-
I think game looks great on 360, and the campaign hasnt been too bad.
-
Yeah the campaign is perfectly fine. Some cool over the top action set pieces and solid CoD gameplay.
-
MP is getting absolutely shredded by a lot of the fan base. The backlash is worst than I thought it would be.
-
My unhealthily obsessed with COD mate is whining about the MP being to camper friendly and keep saying he shouldn't have pre-ordered the game, he should have learned his lesson with MW3.
-
Typically there is a honeymoon period with any COD game where everybody is excited about the new stuff. The complaints and disgruntlement don't tend to come until later. Even MW 3 which I thought was terrible went through this phase. But this game has jumped ahead faster to the complaining stage than any COD I've seen.

I've not played multi yet but campaign has been fun enough...

Wait, did they release a Vita version?
-
Wow, it looks like Gameloft is really upping their game on the iPhone 3GS
-
Extinction is pretty good. Almost prefer it more than Zombies. The loadout/class aspect is good, and leveling up to unlock stuff means you can progress further in the map (you aren't beating the map the first time you play it).

You can install GTAV disc1; they just suggest that you use a different storage device. I've got disc1 installed to a USB memory unit, and the disc2 content is all on the HDD. Works swell.
-
The game has a pretty cool cliffhanger and it loves set pieces that involve you running through things exploding. Thats like all of them.

I don't especially like him either. And agree about the racist/homophobic stuff. When I post him its more an example of expressing internet rage of the dumb masses.
-
I stopped watching Elpres videos a few years back, what sort of racist shit does he say?
It's all trolling. But it functions the same way. He got all up in the Trayvon Martin stuff or whenever any "race" issue comes up he's always on the predictable side. He says dumb shit and while half of it is probably trolling just for views, its not really cool either way.
And that's along side the typical cigarillo/taco stuff he's constantly dishing out.
-
It's very tough to do spawning right in a COD game. The maps are so small and everybody is rushing all over the place that invariably you will get the occasional bad spawn. Especially in a small map and especially in a mode like TDM.
It's why I migrated over to the objective modes in cod over the years because the spawns tend to be a little better there because the teams tend to group in the same areas so the spawns are a little more consistent.
-
watching an elpres vid where he's playing kill confirmed and this game looks like a joke. your screen bobs so much when you move around it looks like your character is a velociraptor. cheap, awkward looking enemy models, it looks like your battling 14 year old airsoft kids. constant interruptions by a corny grizzly voice. everything just looks cheap and hollow.
-
Being angry means you're hardcore and a regular joe and on our side. I think that is what it is supposed to be convey.
-
AVGN works because its an absurd thing. He's "angry" about 2600,nes and snes games. So its funny because its so inconsequential.
But yeah dudes who are "angry" about current events either in videogames or the regular world generally are either idiots or pandering or some combination of the two.
-
El Pres schtick is that COD in general sucks but I play it and post about it and rage about it because it makes me money. Which is fine. Occasionally his real views peep through in some videos like that COD ghosts one but as something to watch or follow on a regular basis he's certainly not worth it.
-

Angry Joe certainly comes off like that. He makes some good point from what I've seen (Fable 3 is a stand-out), but he really hams it up to the point where he looks like he's about to start laughing.

So I tried the multiplayer because it was free this weekend on xbox live.
And surprise, surprise, it sucks.
My honest initial first impression was that it wasn't as bad as I expecting. But the more I played the more I disliked.
The movement feels janky and heavy and deliberate. Not what I want in a COD game especially since Black Ops 2 nailed that aspect. The time to kill is a joke. There is no such thing as a gun fight in this game. You see some one first and they die. This is always a delicate thing to get right in a fast paced game like COD but they failed miserably here. It makes the whole gun play experience feel unsatisfying and promotes rampant camping.
The guns all felt the same to me. Maybe they fixed the spawning because I didn't think it was as bad as I had been lead to believe but the whole experience is just so drab and unoriginal and tired at this point. You can only beat this dead horse for so long I guess especially after playing Titanfall.
The extinction mode seemed interesting enough if you are into that sort of thing.
