Basically, FoC's argument goes like this:
1) Since a few Muslims have committed acts of very highly-publicized violence, all other Muslims are obligated to tell me that they condemn that sort of behavior. If they don't, it is reasonable that I make blanket judgments about their religion.
2) If a white person, American, or member of any group I'm part of does something bad, I don't have that same obligation. If someone judges me based on that, they're ignorant and wrong.
3) I can't be arsed to actually look up anything myself.
Sounds fair enough.
The question is, what people need to constantly apologize for others in their religious or ethnic groups? I mean, none of my Irish friends has denounced the IRA, but if I started giving them shit for being terrorist sympathizers, they might throw
Baruch Goldstein back in my face.
