Anybody watching this on USA Network? OMFG THE TEEVEE

It's not bad. It's not GOOD - it could be if the writers and directors and the network actually had enough faith in the scripts themselves without having to resort to all sorts of editing tricks and wacky background music in every scene. But if you can get around all that, and I understand this is a big "if" for the jaded critiques of EB (it's like I can see TVC and Cyanista turning their noses up already)... it's entertaining summer viewing.
Story is: Michael (Jeffery Donovan) is a spook of some sort. He's not government, exactly... but what he is the audience doesn't know. He's in the middle of doing a money transfer to some Afrikans when his people on the cell phone all of a sudden tell him he's been "burnt" - fired - and that's it. So he makes it to Florida where he tries to figure out who burned him. His ex-GF, Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar, looking like the Dagney she's always been but what's up with the lips? Why do women do that to themselves?) is an ex-IRA agent, and Sam (Bruce Campbell) is a washed-up ex-pat who might be helping Michael or might be narcing him out. Oh and Michael's mom (Sharon "Cagney" Gless) is a pain in the ass.
The thing is, the government is willing to let Michael chill in Florida - albeit with heavy surveillance watching his every move - but if he leaves the state, they'll be after him like white on rice. So he hangs out, reluctantly helping out the downtrodden and making a little bit of money.
It's nothing serious - very wisecracky and breeze-y. But I know EB has some big Bruce Campbell fans (Willco! holla back!) so you might want to check it out.
