THAT'S where they make their money, moreso than on hardware sales and even probably on software sales

That's why I was so impressed when MS showed off the SceneIt stuff last night. Packing in four controllers-all the tools necessary for a complete local multiplayer experience- and a game for the regular MSRP game price showed insight I wouldn't have expected from them.

What I'm reading here and GAF is that they are mostly pushing existing games and cheap plastic toys. I can't wait for Animal Crossing to come with a Wii compatible version of the old Fisher Price barnyard toy set, you know, the one that moos when you open the barn door.
