My first job was at a BBQ joint and the guy that worked in the pit listened to Cannibal Corpse. I made him my SPECIAL PROJECT. I forced him (quiet, fan of murder rock or whatever, probably destined to become a serial killer) to talk to me. Every day. I forced him to like me! I forced him to be my friend! And then i began mocking him mercilessly for listening to cannibal corpse.

It worked. He stopped. He even talked to girls and GOT LAID. He had me to thank.

there were a couple kids in the grade above me in high school that cranked cannibal corpse in the parking lot during shop. they were as you expected: morphologically extreme collections of pimples and greasy hair. that said, i appreciate the effect the songs had on the teaching staff and the uptight christian kids, even if it was unintelligible 90% of the time.
