I've noticed that girls have a way that typically act for certain situations. After observing how every girl I know acts I'm completely different.
I think this can be said about everyone... we all act different, 'cus we're all different people.
I never get jealous. If my boyfriend is talking to another girl whether a friend or a stranger. If he's going to be at the bar and a girl friend is going to be there, I just don't care. I don't even get a twinge of jealous in my stomach. I've seen girls that will get pissed or act like that don't care but you can tell they do. But I really just don't care.
I think that when girls get jealous of their boyfriend talking to another girl (even a stranger), it is usually because there isn't enough trust in the relationship. I don't think that sporadic bouts of jealousy like that are normal or healthy for any relationship TBH.
I don't like to talk on the phone, I don't like to talk about how I feel about things, I don't like gossip and idle chit chat.
I think that not wanting to talk on the phone is normal. Many people (whether guys or girls) prefer talking one-on-one to a person IRL. As for gossip, I think that it is a bad habit. When you get older it is really looked down upon, especially in the work place (it can get you fired). Only people that are idle have the time or care to gossip usually and chances are they aren't going to go very far in the workplace because of it.
I like video games, Star Trek, the West Wing, stuff like that. I can't stand reality tv, talk shows or drama's like Desperate Housewives and the like.
More and more girls these days are getting into fantasy, sci-fi, etc. instead of crappy reality TV shows. I used to feel like I was the only girl in the world that grew up on Japanese film and old sci-fi, but when I started going to different communities online I realized that this was not the case. I met many girls who grew up watching the same shows, reading the same books, enjoying the same hobbies. I realized that I wasn't so unusual afterall.
I think that if anything these interests are much more mainstream now than they were before the advent of the Internet. When I was growing up and reading JRR Tolkien, Peter Beagle, etc. it was considered extremely dorky. Now because of the success of Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings in the box office, it seems to be the "in" thing right now for girls to be into fantasy novels. Just go to one of these communities and you will see that they are flooded with girls. Heck, visit a site like fanfiction.net if you want proof... thousands of fanworks there are written by girls. Depending on where you go online it will almost look as if girls make up the entire fandom.
I don't care about shit. I never get pissed off, someone has to do something extreme to piss me off before I blow, but it doesn't happen often. I can only recall maybe 3-4 times it has happened in my life.
Most normal people do not blow up and throw tantrums like 5-year-olds whenever they are upset...
