I went to a meetup with people I know from CS a couple weeks ago and had a blast for the most part. We played billiards, went to an internet cafe and played CS, went out to eat, took myspace whore pictures, played Super Smash Brothers, etc. etc.

I was kind of standoffish at first but it ended up being a really positive experience spending a few days with a bunch of girls as nerdy and into videogames and CS as me.

Have you ever met people from online in real life as part of a social gathering or otherwise? How did it turn out?

Just because the pictures are so funny.

I was under the premise that evilbore started because the banning on GAF had gotten out of control. Wilco isn't going to bend and ban someone when a few peons here get all pissy.

I finally downloaded the infamous "Lucky Star." It came off as an Azumanga Daioh rip-off without any of the charming humor. Still, it seemed okay I guess. Not sure why there would be such a rabid fanbase for it...

Anyway, on TEH BORE, I have met DCharlie, Groo, Raoul Duke, Muckson, Catz, and Prost in real life. I think that's everyone.

I probably walked by Ichirou at some point at the JET Renewer's Conference last year, too.
