After more than a year, this forum's biggest mystery is still... why is the OT forum about four times as popular as the gaming sub-section?

Anyhow, I'm happy to have been one of the few people who fought for the creation of the gaming forum in the early few months, because we obtained it and it just rocks. My favorite Evilbore moment is probably around E3 2007; GAF was always offline and so everyone flew to the gaming forum, and the discussion of E3 news was awesome.

Yeah I like OA, but it's nice to have a place where you can say Shin Megami Tensei, and have the majority of posters know what you're talking about.

Why is that a mystery? A good chunk of this board doesn't even to seem to care about games. Hell this board did not even have a game board when it started. I would say it's safe to say the majority of EB members are not what one would call (by the gaf sort of definition) "hardcore" gamers.

Not really. GAF is for games imo. The discussion there is far more interesting and features many more of my fav posters such as Anihawk. The OT here is slightly better in quality because of the likes of Drinky and such.

Thats what I say as well. EB is not a game board, by any stretch. No one came here for gaming. The early members of EB who got it off the ground were mostly OT gaf posters anyway.
