If it's anything like System Shock 1 and 2, yes. And if it's not an fps rpg, then it's got rpg elements, which is good enough.

it's more of an RPG than an FPS depending on how you look at it.

The whole game is in first person which adds to the immersion but there's A LOT of stat-based leveling up and powers/elemental type stuff to consider with your weapons/abilities. All of the action is in real-time and looks like most first-person games where most of your enemies use the same guns/powers you do except you see a little girl walk by you and put a huge ass syringe into a corpse while you stare down the drill arm of a huge metal diving suit guy who can crush you with his thumb.

looks and sounds awesome and it's one of the major GOTY contenders right now. you should definitely try it if you don't know what the game is about but a lot of people are worried about spoiling some stuff for themselves. They were probably careful not to put any spoilerish stuff in there though.

No, more like a trippier HL2 with RPG elements.

It's worth the download for the lighting alone. I've never seen/played a game where the shadows made me jump before, like they did in the gametrailers preview.

I am absofuckinglutely blown away. I was one of the SS2 loyal from the beginning, but I can't believe they pulled this off. The atmosphere is crazy. Everything from design to sound to voices is just about perfect. The visuals are insance, and I still can't believe the framerate is totally solid. At least Irrational went out on a high note.

mp3 I bet will stary up in price if it sells like mp1, if it sells like mp2 well then. P3 I hope i can get on the cheap. my eb still has copies of dds, that the good thing about being in a realitivly small city, is that games hardly go rare.
