Like everything else on the Wii, the graphics aren't a lot to write home about. They are slightly better than the GCN games. The control is still a little bit touchy, but it's better than Red Steel, that's for sure. You might have to fuck around with the settings a bit for the sensitivity, and switch the shoot and the jump buttons around, but other than that, pretty decent on the controls as well... It still feels like a Metroid Prime game.
My BIGGEST qualm with the game is that the opening sequence I played felt A LOT like the opening to Halo 1 and 2, even down to an in-game calibration. Other than that, I was satisfied.
BTW, I just played through Prime 2, and it was entirely decent. Not as good as the first one, of course, but I don't see the hate. I mean, it is too linear compared to the first Prime, but it was still a fun playthrough with some fucking difficult boss battles and memorable areas.
