Well, it's a proven fact steroids shrink your dick and make you impotent, so yeah that seems to fit this game perfectly from everything I've seen about it.

Initial impressions after about 30 minutes of play -- it feels like a "Fable-ized" Oblivion

Seriously, it even has the "your sister is kidnapped!" story arc

Graphics are not that pretty at all, and it stutters a lot.

Played some more. You should probably just avoid this. I really can't think of any positives.

It feels like playing an offline MMO... with the lag.

Why did you ever buy it?  It was almost a given that Oblivion would be better and you didn't like Oblivion.

What don't you like about overlord?  It's no technical wonder but everything still looks quite attractive.

port it over to the PS3 for 5 fps.  Then make up some bs about how it's running smoother on the PS3, like Oblivion.

Really? lol

I wonder how that will work out, it chugs like really bad on the overworld. I'd probably flip my lid if it ran better than X360.

eh, this port hasn't been optimized enough for a console environment; it looks like the PC version is the one to play for anyone being interested in this game, a 8800 GTS or something will help provide a great framerate

It runs at a better framerate (I played the demo), but it still looks rough really. I was almost blinded at one point by overdone bloom lighting and the texturing, even with full AF on, was very average.

Two Worlds is Oblivion on steroids.  It's just that we're seeing the negative side effects of prolonged steroid use.

So is it true the game world is populated by 99% males characters?  I saw people bitching about that on Gamefaqs.

eastern european devs rarely put females in their games. i interviewed the lead dev and the lead artist on gothic 3 once, and asked them why their games were largely a sausage fest, and they declaimed it a matter of realism: "in the middle-ages, women stay in the home."

I played the demo some more tonight-I was able to turn up AA and AF pretty high at 1280x1024 resolution and still get a 30-40FPS framerate in all situations on the PC version.
