Their Larrabee architecture is supposedly the shit and we'll see samples of it running next year - which will knock our socks off. Certain sectors are predicting that Intel's entry will shutout nVidia, but who knows in that section of the industry.
Intel has something that no other player in the market has-bleeding edge fabrication facilities. They can put out a part a full die shrink smaller than their competition, and then use it to beat them over the head in pricing while still keeping margins high on the enthusiast parts.
I've always liked Intel's products, save the P4s, which were merely "ok", so I'm really interested to see what they have in store with their video card parts, which I agree with Willco will be on stores sometime in the next 18 months or so.
