Zack and Wiki is a fun, inventive, and new game featuring all new gameplay but terrible visuals (all Wii's fault, Capcom did their job fine). However, I find all my time going to Ratchet and Clank, a mediocre (well, mediocre for me since I have played all of these R&C games) game with eye jizzing graphics. So, Wii supporters are all wrong, as usual. Great graphics do make up for shaky gameplay, and good gameplay does not make up for abysmal visuals.Got to agree with you completely. I could keep playing R&C for hours even though nothing about the gameplay is particularly interesting. I just can't tear myself away from the pretty visuals. The lack of excitement is partly due to the ridiculously low difficulty. Synbios can probably beat it with 1 foot on the controller.

Isn't that because Plasma tvs resolution are usually low compared to LCDs?like 852x480 and 1024x768?or is it because of the Plasma technology?
i didn't particularly enjoy playing my ps2 on my hdtv, which is why i keep an sdtv handy! wii image quality is barely an increase over that of the ps2, thanks to the cheap output filter, so wii display on a hd screen is YIKES
I wanted to buy a new TV (1080p) from Samsung but i decided not to after taking a look at their site.technology is moving fast, first we were stuck with 5000:1 contrast, then 10000:1 and now 25000:1.really scary, if i can get a decent deal i will jump in, otherwise, no new tv for me.
I haven't heard good news about SEDs lately. Supposedly, most manufacturers aren't interested in the technology anymore. Have you checked out the Panasonic plasmas? They offer almost the same picture as Pioneers at much lower prices. The only thing that I don't like about Plasmas is the amount of glare. Other than that, Plasmas are superior to LCDs in every way.
