I would love to post that.  It'll be sure to rile up the SDF but it'll probably get me banned.  I don't care about getting banned but they get pissed a lot more when I keep trolling them while remaining unbanned.  I have a special skill for staying alive while trolling.  The one time that I got banned by Bish, I even got him to apologize for it later on even though I really was trolling.

Just the fact that the mods have some sort of influence, make up the rules as they go, and that being a mod is some sort of nerd status symbol instead of just someone that's there to make sure bad shit doesn't happen pretty much sums up everything that's wrong with GAF.

I avoid the sales threads and other shit; none of that interests me.  I'm a gamer.  I don't give a fuck how many units were sold or what bombed.  I don't even recognize any of the names, other than Junpei, that DC posted and I've been on GAF for like seven years.

All I know is that GAF has gotten less and less fun to post at.  It's still great to kill time with at work, but at home I barely ever browse it anymore.

Sad, but true.  I used to love writing up impressions and reviews, but now I don't even bother.  No one seems to care except for the bullshit you mentioned...there's barely any actual DISCUSSION.  Although I do still post up stuff for fighting games now and then, since a lot of people miss out on the 2D stuff.  But even that's become less fun, with elitist pricks popping up and being like "LOL You don't know shit.  Home versions suck.  *I* play in tournaments."

Nowadays n4g.com is lots better than GAy's forum for the latest videogame news, it's got lots of interesting articles that never get mentioned there at all. I suggest everyone to bookmark it ASAP.
