Thought some of you guys might get a kick out of this: so I've been bored as hell at work for the last couple of months, have been kinda lazily interviewing around at a bunch of places seeing what the market is like, and one of the places I've interviewed at was fair and balanced Fox News, for a senior-level position on their site. I've worked at a lot of news/media companies, I worked with the NYT, I worked on Friedman's book, I worked at Conde Nast... I have a lot of experience in that world, so I'm a good fit, and I'm 99.9% sure they're going to make me some sort of an offer tomorrow.
There's another offer I'm more likely to take (better people, better projects, better location, won't have "Republican Lackey" emblazoned on my resume), but they didn't match the salary I was asking for, so I'm basically waiting to see if FNC will match it, or if I'm just asking too much, before I decide.
But I open the question to EB: should I work for what is likely the most fair and balanced cable news network that America trusts in America? Or should I basically be a communist who hates freedom and terrorizes freedom and kills babies of freedom?
