I really need to finish my Perfect Grade Zeta Gundam model. Just one more wing to go and it's all done!
omg, you have a perfect grade kit?
That I do. I bought a brand new one from some online anime store back in 2003 when they were going out of business. I think it cost me $95. The one wing I put together was a bitch, and it's discouraged me so much that I haven't touched the damn thing in about two years.
Oh, man...yeah, I've had this one since it was released and every time I look at all the parts I feel it's so daunting I haven't even started. I got it because the pearl coating means it wasn't meant to be painted, unlike regular PG kits.
The Zeta's wings have these little springs that you have mount on the inside, and they're a real pain in the ass to keep in place when you're closing it up. Other than the one wing, it's completely done. I really need to just suck it up and tackle the other one.
Actually, the PG Zeta looks really good unpainted. I did do detail lines, though, which helps a lot.
