Seriously. In the last year every PS3 exclusive has fallen flat on it's face with Lair being an enormous embarassment. In the meantime, 360 has nabbed a handful of great mid-range software and a couple of killer exclusives. XBLA finally has some legs and it seems, at least, that RROD is clearing up a bit. New SKUs are less tard-ish, cheaper and more accessible. The holiday slate is delicious. So why all the hate?
Nintendo isn't even in the videogame business anymore, it's in the Wii business. Just like Apple doesn't sell an MP3 player, it sells the iPod. My parents have one, my sister and her husband have one, my obscure relatives without kids have one. These are 3 families who haven't purchased a console in a decade. Wii wins, shovelware or not. It's not even a contest.
The PS3 seems to be stumbling, although it's accrued a modest amount of playable titles. It's exclusives have all blown up. PSN/Home is still on the launch pad and the holiday looks to be a loser.
So why are we still down on the 360? I have almost nothing awful to say about it, but maybe I'm blinded here. Fill me in, what's with the backlash?
