As you people know, I have been on a wonderful dental odyssey the past several months.  It has not been unlike one of those long lengthy space shots from 2001, except less beautiful, more bloody, and considerably more expensive, even if you take into account that I watched 2001 on Blu Ray on the PSbomba.

So for those not keeping score at home, I am having two crowns put on my two front teef, which I smashed out in a tragic naked shower related bumblefuck in my apartment.  I have had temporary front teeth in for the past 3 weeks, and with these in, I've had to cut food into small, bite sized chunks, because I can't use my front teeth because they are fragile and they feel like glass and they are, as said, temporary.

So basically, tomorrow I will have new choppers, and I can eat something that isn't 1) cut into pieces 2) bite sized 3) liquid 4) liquified or 5) Mushy beans and veggies.

So, this is gonna be like popping my mouth cherry again.  What do you guys think should be the first thing to break in my new front teeth, which for what they cost, I assume will be made of the same material as the space shuttle, except not as prone to explosions and raining astronaut body parts down on the general populace?

I am waiting until next year to decide.  I have to go through the surgery shit first, so I am taking one complicated procedure at a time here.

wait..how many of your teef did you have taken out?

Well, I guess I am an idiot for not knowing this, but it turns out that when I broke my teeth as a teen, I apparently broke out most of my two front teeth.  Significantly more of one than the other.  The other one, I guess there was enough of that they were able to construct a pretty good tooth out of.  However, do to the crowning process, and in the interest of getting things done, I am getting both front teeth taken care of.

PD, over the past two appointments, this office has proven to me that they deserve my trust.  The whole recommending surgery in such a way that I would not have to pay them for it gained my trust.  They basically said "We can take your money here, or you can get this done for free.  And the free, covered by insurance option is 100% the better of the two to begin with."

Is a corndog beef?  I don't eat red meat.  Except beef jerky which I will not be abusing my teeth with any longer.  Oh, I also eat beef at thai restaurants, but those are always super lean cuts.

There's only one corndog I want in my mouth.  Or should I say "Cornelidog."

Sounds like a nice practice. What's the dentist's name?

It's a fairly hoity toity practice.  They are basically on MS campus, so they have gotten fat off MS money.  They have like, fountains in their lobby, and they give you eyeglasses that display movies on the lenses when you do in.  You can even bring in a DVD to watch!

Seattle is an expensive area, but even considering that, I don't think their prices are that terribly high, and even if they are a bit more than most dental practices, it's easily the best I have ever been to.  If I knew there were practices this cool, I wouldn't have put this off for so long.

PIZZA.  Glorious pizza.  That's what you should eat.

That or a bunch of tuna fish.

When I had my wisdom teeth taken out a couple of years ago, the first thing I ate once the pain went away was Ethiopian food. It's fucking delicious if you can find a place that cooks it right. Come on White Man! Do those Ehtiopians a favor and eat their yummy food!

When I got my braces off I ate like 5 bags of popcorn - something I hadn't had in almost 3 years.

Popcorn is pretty much a no go.  It gets all stuck in my crushed and broken molars, sometimes becoming very painfully wedged in there.

Fun fact:  during an earlier appointment a week or two back, I found out that one of my two crushed molars has been pretty much perpetually bleeding for an unknown period of time.

when I got my braces out I immediately went go-karting and nearly broke my neck when I got t-boned.

I suggest you go to a really posh (I don't know what that really means) ice cream place and get a huge ass sundae, take it home, get high/drunk as fuck and just eat all of it.  and don't brush your teeth.

just for that night.

And during the process of eating popcorn he bites hard into a kernel chipping another tooth. Thus beginning the Super Denti Fun Fun Saga II! It will be fun for all when he gains a new level of power (or is that insanity) and his dreams of becoming a god comes true!

Oh, Saga II is already in pre-production.  I expect the writer's strike will not hold off the new season, which will beginning in January.  I plan on putting the episode "My Entire Head Won't Stop Bleeding" up for an Emmy nomination.

I'm getting my wisdom teeth taken out this friday.  the bad thing is that I'm going to my birthday that day but the doctor said that my wisdom are nearly out (I'm matchoor for 18 you see) so they only need to use local anesthetic.  I plan to eat a bunch of shit and hopefully that doesn't backfire.
