I've only gotten to the first city in Assassin's Creed and it's an amazing looking game, no doubt about it, but there's sections in Uncharted that are just absolutely incredible and go far beyond of what I've seen up to this point in Assassin's Creed.

Just so you know Himu, I'm comparing it to GTA when it comes to how big the world is itself. When your standing on one of the View Points and it pans around, you realize you can walk through all this and its a "Woah what the fuck?" type of moment.

Its the same feeling I got when driving through the countryside in GTA:SA

Oh yeah. Definitely. When I first got to Damascus and you see the whole entire city over that hill I was like,"HOLY SHIT. No way are they gonig to let you traverse across ALL of those buildings". And you CAN. So when you get on top the highest view point you're like,"aldjfa;fj"

Even the GTA games, particularly SA, never had this sense of scale. It makes me so excited for GTAIV, because they boast they're making the games much more like this in terms of geometry.

Definately stay away from the PS3 version.  Have had no other major issues on the PS3, but this game froze twice and I fell through the world once as well, all in about 7 hours of play.

Oh, it was funny, I was fighting near one of the blocked off sections, and a templar threw me into the blocked off section which caused me to die haha.

I just started playing an hour or two ago and I have no idea how this game got so badly savaged. Coming up Damascus is an OMG GAMING RULEZ moment if there ever was one.

Theres definitely a learning curve in the control scheme (as some of you previously stated) but you feel like such a badass when you really start to learn the fundamentals then the more advanced stuff.

One scenario was with an archer on a roof. I Spidey'ed my way nearly up to him, still on the side of the building. When he turned his back to me, I readied my hidden blade and leap frogged up onto him doing a stealth kill. It just felt so...fucken cool.

Its funny, I was a bit intimidated by the controls when I first started playing. Now its totally cake.

I think I have to agree with all of the  :o posts on here about this game. I was quite upset when I heard about the whole memory storyline, but now that I've played it...I think that they did an hokay job of it.  I think the combat although maybe a bit too easy is addictive and hasn't gotten old as of yet. I'm only about 3 or 4 assassinations into it though.

I definitely understand the repetitive gripes about this game though. It's really not that you are doing the same thing over and over in the side missions...because, let's face it, that's the way that all sandbox titles play. Why I think this title seems too much "more of the same" is each pickpocket, interrogation, and eavesdrop is exactly the same. In GTA there are plenty of steal so and so car and bring it back to so and so place. But, getting there is what makes it still seem random. How many police that are after you, if they shoot your tire out, and so on. With AC these info missions have none of that randomness to them.

I've also went back and forth on whether or not I think the climbing should be a bit harder or not. At times (especially with the eagle points) I sit there and think, "You know, they really could make this a bit more of a challenge." Then once you have the town in high alert or are getting chased I think it becomes clear as to why there isn't much thinking or skill involved in the climbing.

Overall, I think this game is best enjoyed if you take your time in between the missions and then once you get to the assassinations you try to come up with the most creative way. Otherwise I think the game can become a bit stale.
