It's like they actually learned something about game design in the past decade. I'm at a loss. Short, tightly focused levels, a cromulent amount of challenge, forgiving checkpoints, variety (without annoyance), non intrusive use of waggle, graphics designed around the system's limitations, a fuckton of unique content, a new idea just about every 30 seconds, JESUS. I have put over 14 hours into the game so far, I have 30 stars, and I apparently have a whole fuckton more game to go through. Not only has Nintendo delivered after years and years of whiffing at the home market, but they've done struck themselves a dinger that might might be their single best game to date (at 14+ hours in, I think I am qualified to make that claim right now, unless something goes horribly, insanely wrong, and I doubt they would have let that happen if the first half is this god-damned polished).
