Do you have any friends with Xbox 360? If so, then the laptop is the easy choice. I'd probably upgrade the laptop either way.

I don't have any friends with a 360, but it's a long way until halo comes out, there will be price drops. pretty pointless thread, i could of answered it by myself.

Okay time to change the thread topic...can you add extra/bigger(in gb) harddrives to a laptop?

I'm actually selling my laptop for a 360

lol

But this laptop isn't a gaming laptop so its easier to let go. Now if it was one of those laptops with a 7x Go series GPU....

anyidea what I will need? It seems most the latops in my price range are under 2.ghz  :'( I might have to wait until after christmas..

If its for gaming just make sure its got a good ATi card in it, the processor and ram stuff are obvious important points too, but there's a lot of high proc/ram laptops out there with onboard video
