I want to get a green one and a tanish one just because that is what will match with my cloths.

I will probably end up going with 2 and 4.

dude, you need a good suit to pull one of those off. if you get a blazer that's too broad for your chest and you wear a cravat, you'll look totally gay. I don't actually know anything about how to get a good suit so you'll have to ask somebody old like drinky or tvc what you should get.

I thought of that and I'd like a good suit but I don't go anywhere were I would need one so I'd never get to wear it. I've got a classy enough leather jacket that I always wear and some good shirts that I'm hoping will be enough.

Actually the jacket is why I want a cravat as it has a really low cut chest which is fucking cold in winter and I can never get my scarf to cover it up, so a cravat will just add a little something there which is all I need.

I have to combine the two. If I go for trim I look queer and if I go the other way I'm told I look evil and angry. Normally I would be wearing dark sunglasses too, so alcoholic it is. I need to carry around a flask in my inner jacket pocket so I can get the liquor bulge showing to confirm this new style.

Arvie, you can dress properly without looking "queer." Combining the cravat with a scruffy look it just going to make you look like a poorly closeted alcoholic. There are only 2 kinds of people that wear cravats, and by combining it with, of all things, leather, you are not putting out a message that ends with anything other than getting rogered.

It's been around since 1914 and the design has never changed. It's super warm with two full layers of dense 100% wool. It comes in a few different colors. I'm on my second coat. They're incredibly durable. My first coat lasted about 10 years.

Jacket that was posted on GAF would actually probably look cool with a matching color cravat. Or maybe one without all the pockets, you'll look like a dignified hunter.

I thought I was the only one (as far as the sizing). Its all like "Measure this and divide it by that!". It also doesn't state what the jacket measurements are (chest circumference?)
