Final Fantasy VII is the first game where I had like 10 saves because I had to save before my favorite parts of the game and replay them over and over because of parts like this  :D :D :D

FF7 :BOW

The coolest moment in gaming ever for me. Gave me goosebumps like fuck. I got chills when the whole power of the city was cut out due to the Mako Cannon absorbing all of the Mako....following by that moment of complete dark and silence......then the charge and fire, windows and whole sections of the city breaking and falling apart because of the extreme force..

Epic.

Another fuck awesome moment is the rocket hitting the meteor and the people looking up and it STILL BEING THERE.

And the all fell to the ground and put their giant two polygon block hands on their heads. It was awesome despite being so crude.

Also RUFUS getting blown to shit.

btw they didn't fire the Midgar Cannon at Diamond Weapon. It was meant for Seph's barrier but genius mister Diamond had to be in front of its path.

ps. Diamond Weapon is the coolest Weapon of them all.

That's right, Tardo weapon got in the way. You were supposed to head off Diamond Weapon before it got to Midgar and crushed, "Hey, you're not black" Marlene.

Also, seeing the Midgar Solom IMPALED on that big fucking stick!!!

But too bad I can rarely do so anymore, since everybody seems to be on either the hater-side or the faggy 'omg reamek plz' side. This game has become underrated and hated on too much.

i don't necessarily think the remakers are faggy, as they could do some great things with the game (streaming seamless world midgar 3rd person behind camera omg), but yeah, you're right about some if its charm probably being lost. no more honeybee inn, for sure.

but the haters are really ridiculous with the hate sometimes.

the game has so many amazing scenes.

Yeah, I was like omfg I have to actually fight ultimate here? And then tifa and cloud eat it.

Also, I really loved the sequence in Kalm with Cloud telling the story and Tifa all being quiet and then later STOP LYING ITS ALL A LIE but cloud gets speared and throws sephiroth into the mako omggg

You know what I hate most about these haters. They try to play FF7 off as a game that's so popular and loved because it was many people's first RPG. While this is true, and also applies to me... it's not the only and definitely not the most important reason. It has legitimately too many great moments and scenes and events. No shitty "he poisoned a whole town!" thingie can touch that.

i rented it once, and i got till the part where you jump on the train right after the random encounter (lol). i was like ''whoa, this is amazing, but there are still 3 discs left, and i don't have enough time to finish this.'' so i took out the disc, and put disc #2 in... it wouldn't let me continue :'(

Totally agree. It's not the deepest RPG in the world, and if you know what you're doing it isn't hard or complex, but damn if the game isn't memorable.

And half the faggy whiners are doing it to spite themselves. If it wasn't for FF7, Americans wouldn't buy RPGs anyway and none of RPGs that get brought over here would even see the light of day in America. If it weren't for the smash commercial success of FF7.

Something about the music at the end of the game is so amazing to me. Like, it has this really somber tone to it, and yet it is totally triumphant and bombastic.

What song is that? It makes me  :'(

The Sister Ray music is just scary though.

I know but I have been listening to the soundtrack for ages now, almost every day, and these ones are played the most. I like ALL of the songs of course, but these are just a notch better than the rest. I mean, while Gold Saucer is a good and cheery track, it will drive a man completely MAD if he listens too much to it :lol
