It seems to me like some guy in charge of marketing thought "Tom Cruise is a popular guy, let's get him on board to further the religion." For all we know, Tom may be acting ALL of this.

The whole video is pretty great, but my vote for the best part goes to the total non sequitor ending, with the narrator saying like "Tom Cruise has brought dsjdhnfgjsdhgjsh technology to over 1.08 billion people!" as if he cured cancer or aids or something. The fact that the voice is in Congratulatory Announcer mode along with the completely puzzling statement makes it OMG bizarre.
