in a more tvc-esque moment this morning, i drank 3/4s of a half-gallon of silk brand chocolate soymilk. it is very very good. i woulda drank the whole thing had my wife not informed me to save some for the brat, which i did reluctantly but not before having some very del toro-esque fantasies about methods to secure that remaining 1/4 of the carton for myself.

i will probably be shitting up something that looks like mucus-spavined brown mollusc later, but to celebrate this brief moment of excess, i would like to ask evilbore a) who loves soymilk as much as i do; and b) what your favorite brands are!

MMMM. SOYMILK. silk vanilla and silk chocolate are my favorites, but not silk very vanilla because it's fuckin' cloying. MMMM.

Never had soy milk by itself, but I got to like soy-milk chocolate while staying with some vegan friends.

A good friend of mine is hardcore Vegan, she's made me all kinds of dishes that I've enjoyed. However, I can't do soy milk.

i am lactose intolerant in my senility, but thanks to parents who encouraged me to drink milk by the metric fuckgallon as a kid, i have this frequent desire to guzzle milk, especially while playing videogames. (shokku!) soymilk is a decent compromise, with the added plus of tasting like my favorite antacid, kaopectate!

can't mix it withanything like ceral though

my personal preference is for skim horizon dairy farms

It tastes better than regular milk, and each brand has a nice hint of sugar mmm. I couldn't drink it daily though

I like soymilk on my cereal, but I wouldn't guzzle it if I were you. Recent studies have shown that consuming lots of soy will increase estrogen production in dudes, potentially resulting in bitch titties. Which sucks for me since I'm a vegetarian and need to get my protein somehow (AND NO YOU FUCKING DEGENERATES I AM NOT GOING TO GUZZLE CUM).

there's an "authentic" soy shop that sells tofu and fresh soy milk across the street from my parents house. it's excellent stuff and what i usually drink when i'm in the mood for soy.

I love Silk soymilk. Plain, Vanilla, Very Vanilla (my fav), and Chocolate are all good. It's fucking horrible with most cereals though, especially the sweet ones. The only cereals that I can tolerate with soymilk are Honey Bunches of Oats and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

In terms of generic brands, my first choice would be Vitasoy:

Second would definitely be Silk (plain or chocolate):

Third would be Yeo's, but I'm not a HUGE fan:

The best soy milk is the kind they sell warm at Chinatown stores. They're fresh and we usually buy it with a soy jello-like dessert (which is also made fresh and served warm).
