I dun get cable, but I know everything they're going to say anyway. There is only one "real" source of direct info on Caligula, and it's not one that can be taken seriously. Same goes for Nero. It appears that the currently accepted way to talk about both of them is to precede every sentence with caveats concerning the verity of the following claim. Since Caligula doesn't come up so often, he can generally be safely ignored. Since Nero has had 2 millennia of Christian bullshitting working against him, it seems okay to pretend that he did the terrible things attributed to him.
