It would've gotten a hell of a lot more attention if they just waited until January to put it out. MS is fucking distinguished mentally-challenged.
I honestly had little to no love for the PGR series. I didn't like the Kudos system and really didn't think PGR3 was all that impressive visually. I'm about as far removed from a PGR fan as you can get. The only reason I even tried PGR4 was just out of sheer boredom and that the fact that the place that I normally get my games from was out of everything I wanted to play so PGR4 won out of default. The game may not translate too well to still screens but when you see the thing running in Shanghai, Macau, or New York with the weather effects turned on, you really begin to appreciate just how incredible it all looks. It's a surprisingly remarkable step up from PGR3 both in the visuals and gameplay.
PGR4 is the king of great but overlooked games of this generation, imo.
