The fetch quests were annoying but at least understandable for a FF-like JRPG. It's incomprehensible what they were trying to do with the minigame though. I don't even know if you can call it a minigame since it didn't have any challenge whatsoever. My guess is that the minigame was influenced by next-gen paradigm which believes that a gamer is more involved by pressing a bunch of random combos in order to pull off a mundane action.

Does it make sense to spend slot seeds on Seth? I've been kinda stingy about giving her slot seeds 'cause I don't know if I would still use her at the end.

hell if i know. depends on how you use her. She's my thief, so I give her skills that mostly involve stealing, giving enemy information, becoming faster rather than making her a power house, but because of that she's got a lot of skill slots

Is there any point to stealing? I rarely do it 'cause I just wanna heal or deal more damage with that turn. Also, isn't getting enemy information all passive once you get the right skills?

you can get good shit like slot seeds etc. from bosses, and better components for rings are stolen (as opposed to the items that are dropped after battles)

The game has been giving me problems in The Great Ancient Ruins. The game has either been throwing out disc read errors or freezing after a couple of fights,so I've been forced to run away from every encounter thus far. It could be Disc 4 or the 360 or that specific dungeon.

I just want to beat the game

actually, you can go back to the crimson forest but not numara.

i can't wait to get all those slot seeds at the end of the game, wherever they are.

disc three is fantastic. i like this game more and more as i go along.

Thanks. It sorta helps now,no freezing or DRE but the still sound cuts out. Hopefully that's the worst of it and I can get through the dungeon.

You should just exchange your disc. I had similar problems with disc 1 which diminished after I put it in boiling water. That showed it was a disc and not hardware problem.

Ive been checking out the achievements, looks like theres quite a lot of side-questing to be done... and fucken 99 Seeds... sheet... apparently the item you get from those is the only way to max out the immortal skill master achievements...
hopefully the bosses dont get as tough as the optional fucks from FFX

yeah its just to the left of the big staircase you come down, where theres two statues on either side of you that swing their shit around and you have to fight them, this is the one that everyone misses and isnt even in the offical strategy guide apparently

yeah, so Ive heard you can go back to most areas in disc 4, apparently no achievements are missable so Im assuming this is true, as you'll need to aquire all accessories for the skill master achievements.
