holy fuck this dungeon rocks. I'm at the beginning of disc 4. Haven't played lately but I plan on beating before Saturday when I leave for Spring break. I don't plan on bringing my 360 home for break.

The enemies in this dungeon make me go all out. Especially the WATER AND FIRE DEMONS

Did everybody think that cave in Disc 2 sucked ass?  I kept falling through holes and the random encounters just kept coming. 
The battles would have been pretty fun if not for the fact that there were so many of them.  It look me about 2 hrs to make it to the other side, which completely killed my desire to play the game anymore today. 

Also, is the story predictable or what?  I guess right from the beginning who the sorceress was.

Just use Gamefaqs.  I don't give a fuck about beating a game cleanly anymore.  Once you're an adult, you most likely won't have much time for gaming.  It's better to spend those precious gaming moments on having fun than to be frustrated because you're too stubborn to find out from someone else what to do next.

Tried playing a bit last nite, managed to make it through the Ice Fields running past 90% of the battles (I'm already pretty overleveled, so the enemies are giving me the bare minimum of EXP)... haven't really been able to concentrate due to fretting over a girl. Even running around in circles doing therapeutic grinding isn't making me forget. Hopefully I'll be over her (and under another girl ) this weekend and ready to play again.

that deity boss at the top of the tower gave me a bit of trouble, went into the fight quite unprepared, and ended up using almost all of my HP and MP recovering items  :'(. Sed's double item ability really came in handy. My next priority is to head back to a town and do a huge restock, Ive got shitloads of gold so I should be sweet. Where do I go next? Like people have said before the game doesnt tell you shit  :'(

hmm, I totally cleaned out the apartment in disc 3  (yes I hit both entrances), so theres new items there in disc 4? I'll check it out. Im just gonna go to every location and mark them off as I go, should hopefully work out... god Im going to be so proud If I get 1000/1000 on this game

if you get 3 stars, you get a bonus items like seed slots.

if you don't have backyard weekly key items, seek gamefaqs.

I did a bit of that last night and It was much more fun than I thought it would be, Im just wading through the list of Seeds ATM and picking up the ones I missed, and hitting those Royal Seals. Ive been getting lots of dreams along the way so its been awesome, what an amazing game

All the ones that you can access still have to be picked up however... Its not that much of a mission... I went through 20 seed locations last night, took about 1/2 an hour. So going through the list wont take toooo long

I really wish they'd spread these sidequests around more, we'll see how many I do before I just wanna beat the game. I'm definitely going for the mortal skill achievements, and I'm going to shoot for all the secret bosses, and the Backyard.

I also like fighting 3 toads that can cast all-venom that does 500 damage each turn, or Squash which does 1800 damage, to a party whose strongest character has 2000 HP.

cast shieldus, equip anti poison skill/accessory and equip kaim with hp up level 2 or 3 accessory.

Already have that equipped, he's 8 levels underleveled.

It's not impossible, it's just annoying to be shoved into this with all your characters way underleveled. I guess I should have gone to that bonus area first.

btw - It's impossible to get Sheildus off before getting hit with squash at least once. Auto-shield not sufficient.

Squash isnt that bad, as in it'll take a character down to critical (yellow), but if a toad uses squash again on a charcter on yellow health it'll deal 0 damage. Winda will fuck those guys up. After a few fights you'll have levelled enough to trounce them

you need to complete that dungeon to upgrade your ship? And watch out on the way to Numara, the Arthrosaurus is a bitch. Im gonna have to do some more grinding and sidequests I think

omg lvl47 in like half an hour. I'm going to get all the mortal skill achievements (except Tolten) tonight and bumrush the standard dungeons tomorrow.

I'm pretty excited, I'm going to be able to use my final all-immortal party way earlier than I thought. I've been waiting forever to set up all their skills and shit.

yeah Im loving all the skill learning and character customisation in this game... it really is such a complete blockbuster jrpg package

you can do some pretty sick leveling in gongoras cave, make sure you have Sed in your party, he learns Double exp and SP skills that affect the whole party, indispensible for grinding

Tried fighting the 'Persona' boss in the Mansion last night, I was a bit drunk and got creamed, that predator head fuck is getting it tonight, after my friends rugby match

I'm only 40 SP away from having double XP/SP on Kaim/Seth, then I'm going to switch to all immortals and skill leech/level one mortal at a time until everyone is at 52 or so.

It seems that 1lvl/battle ends at 48.

I think the mortal that you are leeching the skill off needs to be your active battle party for the SP to be applied... I noticed  this last night

I did the first couple of battles earlier, not sure I like the tunes. I remember seeing a preview video with that music and fearing it was the normal combat track. It picks up after the first few goofy  seconds though.

I'm doing 4 immortals and Sed now, they are all learning 3 accessories. Levels stall out at 49 in this area, so I won't be able to max characters just yet. Fortunately level 8 magic is learned at 49 and so is Tolten's last skill.
