If you put on a superman cape you can do anything.

I say no. First time a extremely large black man has ever come up short.

The fact that he sort of threw it in was kinda cool though.

But NOTHING was better than his first dunk.  That shit was fuckin' crazy.

And lol at Green's BIRFDAE CAKE

I don't care what it was -- it was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.  The spectacularity (?) of his dunks went in this order imo:

Off the backboard to the other hand dunk > Superman dunk > Behind the backboard dunk > final dunk (which was about a 47 imo)

However, if Dwight would have completed the FIRST attempt of his first dunk, that would have been the best one.  He took off from much further behind the board and caught it further out.

Who cares either way? It was easily the most exciting play of the night. Best dunk comp since the 80's for me (although there were a few great ones in the 90's and the 2000 one was great), redemption big time for an event I had almost given up on. All 4 of Howard's dunks + the birthday cake dunk + Jomario Moon's first dunk were all flawless, with the Superman being the best. Sure, all 3 of Howard's other dunks were technically better, but none had the electricity of that one.

What are you bitching about Malek? It was a good "dunk." Besides, everyone knows Superman can't touch a rim without ripping it to pieces - he had to throw it in for the safety of all!

Did anyone kinda feel sorry for Gerald Green?  I don't remember an athletic contest where the runner-up was made to feel so uncomfortable.  The league should have made sure the losers won't be embarassed like that so they are willing to come back again.

Getting enough air to throw the ball downward through the hoop from a few feet away is more impressive than a traditional dunk.  You're stuck in a pre-9/11 mindset.

The Birthday Cake should have been a 60/50, though.

I didn't think the cupcake thing was particularly good. I mean, does blowing out a candle while performing an ordinary dunk automatically make it awesome?

He got too high for that to be called an ordinary dunk.  A gimmick ordainary dunk would be something like Cedric Ceballos' blindfolded dunk.
