I bought the Doom Hacker's Guide and I was going to make a totally awesome WAD back in the day. It ended poorly. :(

I have it on good authority that Himuro's penis is 8 1/2 inches long when fully erect.  It should function as some sort of weapon in the game.

Can we have Sfags as enemies please?  Altogetherandrews, J-Rzez, Wollan, Kittonwy, etc can be level bosses.  Evilore can be the final boss.

I'll fund this game if you make it happen.

I'd try to do it in Quake 2, but Doom is easier to edit plus I can replace sprites more easily than character models.

Do it.  It completely makes sense since this forum's name is a pun on one of the biggest internet Sfags.

I am assuming a Quake II editor would be difficult to come across, too.

I guess I can tinker around with Hammer (HL2 Editor).  But that raises the issue of not being able to replace enemies except, well, possibly the crude replacement of facial textures, which I know nothing about so it would end up hilarious.

Would doom builder be the WAD editor you'd need? I heard that it works in vista.

It requires DLLs that Vista does not have.

Why don't you have XP anymore? I keep it around just for the odd game that runs likes ass on Vista.

I'm addicted to Explorer in Vista.  It's the main reason I've remained loyal to it.

Do you notice the little transparency effects in the toolbar or thumbnails of minimized videoclips?  They still blow my mind.

I wish MS would use their new divx licensee powers to add native support to Windows.  Even with the best codecs, the videos don't integrate quite correctly with everything.

I'm having difficulty finding an example off the top of my head, but what I'm getting at is when you find something that doesn't quite work with a divx file that would work with an officially supported codec.  For example, I remember there being issues for media player to display the running time, or the ability to skip through the video.

Ok, I get what you're saying now.  I don't know why Microsoft wouldn't get behind Divx either if they're already paid the money for it.  Isn't Divx widely accepted as one of the best codecs available?
